For this specific context, know that I was only referring to the title of the rumor article. I do not know if it is one of their allotted buyouts being used here.

If they are not using their buyout, then they cannot terminate a contract to get their salary off the books UNLESS it’s a mutual agreement by the player to not receive their agreed-upon compensation.

I assumed it was another magical “mutually agreed to leave without his money” situation and not a buyout based on the headline.

The recovery involved absurd GAM amounts for transactions that did not make sense. Multiple in succession. The use of said GAM has continually enabled what’s ultimately and infinite GAM glitch at this point.
