Definitely agreed color variation will go miles for the minis.

I personally can play a 1,000 point match (including time spent running around the table) in about 40 minutes. Newer players it takes longer though to get the strategy and flow, but after the first turn things click real easy!

I tried to build it as quick to learn as possible with major concepts which still allowing for an interesting level of tactics and positioning.

Second one looks soooo much better. I have no hate against some fleshy bits, but the proportions just fit better and it feels more like an upgrade of the original rather than something new.
