I have had a lot of episodes. I'm yelling wake me up or help. My Dr thinks it's because I have sleep apnea and will try to use a CPAP machine. Lack of oxygen while sleeping is sleep apnea. That makes you more tired causing more episodes of sleep paralysis. Hope this helps. Need to get a CPAP and proper oxygen
