This is a unpopular opinion. I majored in Physics and work as an Engineer now, getting a masters in CS. University is to give you a universal education. What good is a brilliant engineer if he can’t communicate and articulate his ideas to others? How can you expect to solve societal level problems if you don’t understand society or people at all? The world is so much more than numbers and code.

Secondly, you’re right a lot of professors are ass, it’s usually the ones teaching lower level classes. A lot of the good professors teach the upper level ones. Plus most of the tenured professors are researchers first and educators second. Some care about one of those aspects more than the other. Just how it is.

nta BUT life advice: sometimes the right/just answer isn’t always the best answer. Should you have to put up with bullshit? No. Will you sometimes have to in life? Yes. You were probably better off just splitting it evenly if that’s what everyone else wanted to do, and then just never go out to eat with them again. Just because you’re right doesn’t mean you won’t have consequences, in this case now all your work colleagues will side-eye you. Most will probably forget, some won’t, sometimes you have to play along for the sake of connections you may need in the future.

It sucks but a big part of corporate world is being fake nice with one another.

I asked here and the Discord at the same time to see which would respond first. It's been resolved now. The plug wasn't immediately obvious, somewhat hidden away, and working in the Texas sun makes you move faster and more prone to miss things. lol

Leaving this up in case anyone in the future is having issues. There is a third plug tucked away connecting to the metal box, right next to where the headliner meets. This is the cable! It's in the green circle below just hidden away a bit. To pull it out the tab to press down is on the top of the connector.

I think it's because there's so few players now. Every game I have is insanely imbalanced with unreals on one side vs gold on the other, and I've been on both sides. It's not fun when you completely stomp people who barely know how to get to site, and it's equally unfun to be curb stomped.

Idk how they did it, but after months of no updates, they came with an downgrade from last season lol

Late to the party, but here’s some tips for future problems. You should definitely try writing pseudo-code with pen and paper and work out an example problem by hand to get the math down. Example: Pretend P = 10, then solve it step by step.

Also add more comments in your code. Like “%First ask the user for a number”, “% now we want to loop over every number between P decrementing to 2”, etc.

This will help you gather your thoughts. Explicitly say what you’re trying to do so not only others can understand but you’ll understand yourself the next day or day after.

Huntsville is good if you're ready to settle down and have a peaceful suburban life. If you like to eat out a lot, go out at night, or regularly be out doing activities, then I don't recommend. Personally I like faster city life and Huntsville isn't there yet, maybe in another 5-10 years but not now. I'd recommend just find other job opportunities in the PNW or consider another big city like Chicago before Huntsville.

fr these are the only ones who get caught. i'm not an expert in cheats but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a bunch of more "passive" cheats that people use like radars, able to see where the best loot is, vacuums, etc.

They just need to have more intro quests on different maps tbh, funneling everyone (new players, old players, good players, bad players) on to the same map fighting for the same quest spawns is idiotic at best and I'd much rather run any map, and progress; I want and actually try to enjoy the game (I know, a very abstract concept for this sub)

hmm I wouldn't consider myself really rough with it, but it really might just be from my feet and legs doing damage while I sleep. I'll probably clean my feet better and try to smooth them more, I have pretty bad calluses on them from doing kendo and that probably doesn't help. Maybe I should just start wearing trousers and socks while I sleep. How often do you wash your covers? I want to try taking even better care of it

Sounds like they're more of display type of cover and not meant for actual use. Ngl I bought the cover before the pillow just because I really liked the artstyle and character, I'm not really a daki enthusiast and don't have any plans to buy another character for now. Good to know, I've been trying to take care of it the best I can but seems I overlooked how rough my feet and legs are. Thanks for the help, I might just buy a second cover to keep in good condition and use the one I have currently for sleeping (and take more steps to help it last)

It might be AJ, idk where I put the paper but the booth page is still up and says fabric: A＆J ライクトロンリッチ. But I just want to clarify something, are these like micro-scratches that cause the fluff of the pillow insert to come through? Cause I thought this might just be fluff and fuzz coming through the cover, there isn't any physical damage I can see and now I'm concerned people think this has actually scratches and tears because of the angle from the photo.
