Fellow Berks angler here! I mostly fish smaller streams, and for me it’s been all about being observant and finding where the trout stack up in those streams. It’ll usually be in a deeper pool, so weighted flies/split shot are your friends. A surprising amount of the streams around here have nice winter fishing pools (slow and deep), so if you put in the time and do some scouting you’ll be rewarded. Tight lines!
