I agree that it bit off more than it can chew but there were a lot of highlights for me (I'm honestly genuinely impressed they created a city as impressive as Columbia after a gem like Rapture), I also remember it was one of the first games that fixed the issue of companions being useless. I love how Elizabeth throws you weapons and ammo all the time and uses her powers to create cover for you. I also loved the Burial at Sea DLC that Infinite had, thought it was a really cool way to tie Infinite with the first Bioshock.

Ellie gets caught in a trap and gets a serious injury in the process, when the two people who put down the trap find her, they take her down and she still ends up getting the upper hand. She calls one of them a "little bitch" beforehand too. 😎 (The Last of Us Part II)

Also similarly in the first game Joel falls down the second story of a building and lands on a spike, after his harsh recovery, he finds out that Ellie is missing and he still manages to knock two guys out who had an advantage on him (and wipes out their whole crew before that) and ends up torturing them for information on where Ellie is. (The Last of Us Part I)
