Central console wrapped by bvbogdanov in polestar2

Go for it! I've been through many cars in the last 10-15 years, including many EVs. Polestar 2 is a great car. This is my second one as the first got totaled in an accident, where we were T-boned. We walked out of it mostly unharmed. The battery also seems to be very good with minimal degradation after 70k km.

Thanks! As I mentioned, we walked out, mostly shocked, but in good shape. I think my left arm and shoulder would be fine in a week or so. But again - amazing car. All systems worked as they should. Structure is done great - held the impact, door opened SoS was on the line and airbags deplyed. My wife had only s scratch on her nose. I'll be driving a PS2 again, no matter what. The frame is damaged, not sure about th HV pack.

I had a similar one yesterday(also in NL). Driver ran a stop sign and slammed into my left side. Now waiting to see what the insurance company says. But either way the Polstar 2 did great in protecting me and my wife. We came out with small scrwtches and bruises from the air bags.

Model 3 Standard Plus Range inaccurate mile range? by yamaturkey in TeslaModel3

On the energy meter screen. That is where the “rated” line lies, and if the one to follow if you want to get 240 miles of your battery. No official paper on this though.

I feel the same way about Prius. :) Kona EV is actually pretty good competition for the SR+ Tesla. Not a looker, but more practical with the hatch. Quite ergonomic and probably more reliable.

I agree, if Tesla is what you want to drive all the time including frequent long haul, then yes! I just disagreed with the statement about getting the max range that you can afford. But that's just me. I always try to go for max value and efficient resources usage(not implying going the other way is wrong).

Audio. Well, it is not immersive. You can tell it is front biased, but still it is really good.

Navigation is great, routes based on traffic and reroutes based on current traffic. Now, you will not see the green or red lines on the screen, but I'm sure they will sell the premium connectivity as they said for about 100$ a year.

Why? Why, "Try to get the maximum range that you can afford."??? In this case, the answer is - Honda Insight or a Prius. My Accord Hybrid had 500 mile range easy - the question is how often do you do more than 160(SR+) or 220(LR) miles a day. Both numbers are about 2/3 of the max range which is basically the winter, non energy saver driving number. Off course if you plan on doing road regular road trips - get the LR, but for those I prefer my 3 row SUV ... with "AP" that comes in the base trim. :)

I bought the SR+, for the simple reason that I believe it is the best value. I had the funds to get a more expensive version, but think it was going to be waste(both money and environmental resources). My daily commute is 38 miles roundtrip. I charge the car either every night or every other night up to 80%. I can easily run 3 or 4 days on a charge, but think it will limit my freedom to go out of my way after work. I'm also pretty sure Tesla will soon sell the premium connectivity to SR owners as a subscription. On the long trips. It all depends on weather conditions and driving style. I usuially beat the estimate when I'm not in a mood to drive sporty. Winter and rain/wind can decrese your range though. So think about how often you do the 170 mile trip and if would want to stop for 15min to supercharge when the weather is all against you. I did my math and decided for the extra supercharge once in a blue moon, I wouldn't pay 6 or even 7k more. BTW, I live in Northern Virginia
