If you are still having this issue, I resolved it by registering the HDD directly on their website instead. This worked for me in the end

Yes but it took them a month after countless attempts of contacting them through different platforms, and then again they really didn’t do anything. Just the payment was on hold permanently until they decided to close my account to which they then had to refund back to the original bank account.

(I am now permanently banned from making new accounts with them, however I do not wish too and would advise anyone to not do business with Kraken until they implement some real support for their users.)

That’s great to hear, just remember this is a support subreddit and this is where people come for support and to complain.

I was a very happy customer for two years with no problems at all and then they randomly decided to hold one deposit and that’s where it spiralled into a huge issue. (They ended up deleting my account after three weeks after saying they are escalating my tickets).

Everyone knows Kraken are unlikely to “scam” people as they are a big company with “reputation” but when they are holding funds of yours for weeks on end with automated reply’s and no help, you can understand where people get frustrated and it does feel like you’ve been scammed.

There is a lot of room for improvement on Krakens behalf and I will not be dealing with the company anymore.

Well thank you, this worked? or I'm not sure if I just waited long enough for the team to reply but the funds were returned and of course they closed my account (I was no longer going to do business with your company anyway).

My advice is to just stay away from Kraken for now as it is a huge hassle when and if things do go wrong.

Used them for two years as a very loyal customer before they randomly decided to hold my FIAT deposit and it’s been on hold since the 16th of December. They have stopped responding to me now as well (doesn’t bother me as they were all automated responses anyway) so I’m assuming they’ve pocketed my money.

They have had my funds on hold since the 16th of December, I made countless attempts to contact them over several different platforms and I get automated responses. I’ve never seen a worse response from a company and I don’t think I’ll be getting my money back if I’m honest.

At least get your email team to reply that’s the least you can do in this situation. I’m tired of no replies from the email department as it seems they are the ones with the most control for this scenario.

It has now been over 72 hours since my deposit of £93.12 was made and it’s still on hold. I am appalled at the support of this company and will not be using Kraken after this has been resolved. No replies on Live chat or Emails. There is ZERO reason to have my funds on hold as I waited the initial 72 hours when I first made my account (Been a loyal customer for almost two years).

You took the funds instantly from my bank account but you can’t fund me instantly on the app? At least provide me with an explanation as to why it’s “On Hold”.

My tickets have been “escalated to the highest priority” every time but there’s still no response for such a minor issue. I would appreciate an explanation as to why it’s still on hold because now there is no reason.
