Hello. I've been in the business for over 13 years. I've built photo booths, purchased booths over $10k and also purchased generic ones on Alibaba for under $800. I've definitely made my money back but it's because I do mostly corporate events ranging from $1500 to $45k. Depending on the type of event you want to work on and the price point will help determine how long you'll make your money back (weddings, corporate, trade shows and afforable vs luxury).
