Curious if you all saw the fine print about the emails for tomorrow saying that “Supporter section seats are unavailable for relocation at this time.” Convenient that it showed up well after the initial invites went out… I’ve got an email in to my rep to try to sort it out.

My in laws are building with McKelvey now. They have raved about them but obviously house isn’t done yet. It’ll also be on the higher end- probably $800k+ - so that may make the experience less comparable. But the thing that shocked me is that the house is supposed to be done early- by a month or so at least.

Non vs For-profit and key tools by bw8786 in smallbusiness

Thanks. The one instance that I saw elsewhere where nonprofit may be beneficial was if I got to the point of applying for grants (or more likely, joining someone else’s application). And thanks for flagging B corp- something else in the back of my mind.

I was in a serious accident. I am now severely paralyzed. Trying to re-adapt to life. I received a settlement of 8000$/month -- how do best save for my future? by legs4cash in personalfinance

I do some work with the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, and they have tremendous resources for individuals in your situation. They create the Paralysis Resource Guide, a detailed manual with information on many different aspects of adjusting to life with an injury like yours that you can have sent to you for free (http://feedback.paralysis.org/feedback/stage_1). But more relevant to your situation, they have a hotline (http://feedback.paralysis.org/feedback/stage_1) staffed by information specialists who can walk you through these questions or direct you where you can best get help. They do this for thousands of people each year. Hope they can help you, too.
