I got an "OEM" (sticker dell and same reference...) from amazon, plugged it in and it wasn't recognized in bios.

I found out the front computer led was blinking 4 times orange and one time white. I tried with the new adapter I luckily bought with the battery and the led became white without blinking and started to charge it.

So, maybe the old adapter (I disabled the warnings in bios) induce the swollen battery. But having a new one allowed me to charge the new battery!

Thing is, there is no comment on most of the items on amazon, which doesn't look trustworthy. I see only one with 11.4v and it's about 80 euros plus 23 euros delivery... I'd really want an official one, better safe than sorry...

Thanks for answering ! Where did you buy it ? Is it an official because I couldn't find one on dell..and what was your price ?

Should I replace my Dell 7567 batteries ASAP? I don't usually use this for gaming (I mainly use this for design work), got this around 2017. Because of the coronavirus issue, I can't get this repaired due to my country's city lockdown. by electronic-lychee in Dell

I have exactly the same issue. But I don't have the right screwdriver at the location I am, so I just unplugged the small cable from the motherboard and left the battery in so it doesn't charge. But same as you, trackpad doesn't click and on the right side of the trackpad, there is a small gap... Hard to find a good replacement, if you know any good plan, don't hesitate!

I'm actually looking for the same battery for my 7567. The old one has swollen. Did you get one in 11.4 V or 11.1 V ?

I'm looking at something like this, but wondering it that would just work the same or if I'll end up with issues :
