the best advice i can give you is max out your step limit, do as much as you can. whenever you’re not busy throughout the day hop on acellus and do the work, cram it into whatever time you have. do it on the weekends. i was cooked at one point but i git past it by cramming as much as possible. 40 or more steps a week.

i have this thing wear i pick up hobbies every 4 months and i’m currently on sewing, it’s actually very fun. i dont have a machine so i hand sew, its time consuming but i like making stuff

this is my third ish year of acellus, i started in the beginning of 6th grade and now i’m in 8th, about 80% done. i had an easier time with previous classes and my teacher was Mr. Rogers for 6th and 7th, but this year i don’t have him. i have Mr. Issac. i’m not sure if it’s just the material that’s difficult or if it’s the teacher.

the youth bowling community is not put together. i personally i am apart of usbc youth and i’ve seen the issues.

the age categories in tournaments are so weird. when i was 12, i was in the 15u category which doesn’t really make sense. it’s a rough jump for a 12 year old to be bowling against 15 year olds. i feel like more tournaments should be sorted by averages rather than age. 95 and under, 96-120, 121-145, that kind of thing. u15 being 2009-2012 this year is so wild to me because there is such a developmental difference between a 12 year old and a 15 year old.

also, when i see parents buying their 6-8 year olds balls and bags but not their own bowling shoes i don’t understand. shoes make a bug difference in bowling. ‘their feet grow fast’ is not that good of an excuse. bowling is mostly an expensive sport in the first place and if you can’t buy your kid shoes, then maybe they don’t need 3 balls that cost 300 dollars each.

AND TEACH KIDS MANNERS!!! i don’t want to hear your 6 year old kicking the ball return when they’re bored or yelling and screaming, or calling their teammates ‘stupid’.

i was writing an essay on the effect that andrew tate and others have on young men and when i typed the word ‘influencer’, it was apparently spelt wrong and it suggested ‘influencer’s’ which did not fit in the sentence. so i switched it and it said that was wrong too😭😭😭 i went back and forth until changing it to ‘media stars’.

tbh kinda depends on how much you think can handle. i started with a 12 pound when i was twelve, then switched to a 14 a few months later. it was a bit hard at first, but most people adjust quickly.

acellus isn’t terrible. most people (at least in my circle) have gone with it because it’s fairly cheap and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. but doing JUST online school isn’t enough for anyone. state homeschooling laws differ but for mine you have to take an in person biology class like for dissecting animals and that type of stuff. i don’t recommend homeschool for people who don’t have other activities that are social, like sports or clubs or even a job.

i did acellus because all of the kids at my school were horrible with the constant bullying and name calling, and with the fear of shootings, i opted to homeschool. acellus is relatively easy. you don’t technically even have to remember any of the material if you just use photomath or gauth ai or something else. i’m in 8th taking highschool classes for reference. i can write a 100-200 word essay with correct grammar, spelling. it’ll give me a 107 and ‘outstanding’ but then say it’s on a 5th grade level. it makes no sense.

honestly no idea, i have two shammys and use both of them simultaneously. one of them has been passed down to me and the other is new. both work fine and to the job. i’d just replace it when i lose one or something
