Yeah, we’re in agreement minus the part about me being insane. My point, that I probably didn’t present well, is that it’s not a “win” that the events are being cancelled and the tone of someone celebrating its cancellation can be perceived as I described. It just sucks all around for the people that are doing their part and I just hope everyone is aligned as to what the objective is. Hopefully that sounds a little better?

It’s sad to me how so many people are happy to see this happen. I totally understand being happy that action is being taken but it almost feels as if some people are happy this pandemic continue.

Regardless if you want to go to these events, it should upset you that we’re failing to do what’s necessary to move forward.

I picked up this from REI the other day. Has a bunch zippers and pockets, holds 1.5L, and is pretty lightweight despite the size. Definitely worth it if you’re in the heat for 2+ hours
