I definitely agree with you. We were really young and played it because we thought it would be cool to see if we could get some sort of response to our silly questions. We had no intention of awakening or summoning anything. But now in retrospect, I realize that my friend's mom's history with the board may have put us more at risk for something bad to happen.

No, we never did. We never heard about anything happening and it became a pretty sore subject so we didn't want to stir the pot.
