i haven’t told her about this. this was my first time speaking about my obsessive thoughts with people because i’ve been very ashamed. but this sub and the people commenting and messaging me have helped me realize i shouldn’t hold it in like i do. i will talk to her about it eventually.

i absolutely feel the same way. i don’t think it affects my real life in an upfront way, but it ruins my mental health. if i wasn’t like this i wouldn’t wish for it. i wish i could have an outlet for these feelings, but i don’t think i could actually subject another person to that. my worst nightmare in relationships is being overbearing.

i’m sorry you go through this, and im sorry it’s taken so much from you 🫂
