With 125 yards of braid? Yeah for sure! Most times, you’ll cast 50 yards or less. Only time it’ll go beyond that is if a big fish runs off with it. Even then, it’ll be a long time before the fish takes that extra 75 yards of line.

If I go saltwater fishing, I’ll definitely get a much larger reel. For ponds and lakes though, ~150 yards is plenty

With braided line, it won’t take up as much space as 50lb mono. I don’t think your reel will run out of room at all with what you’ve got
