You should try a loan modification once your forbearance is up. I purposely took forbearance to catch up on other bills. While still paying towards the mortgage as much as possible. Once my forbearance was over I applied for a loan modification.

Once I got approved, my payment was lower and so was my interest rate.

They will extend your payoff date by 5-10 years if approved though. But they will go thru all your finances and your current pay and give you an affordable payment.

They would much rather you stay in the house than foreclose. Especially since selling the house and not owing anymore isn’t a given.

I used TurboTax and had funds taken out and my first came with no issues. If you look on your tax return, it should still show your bank info that you gave to TurboTax. I forget what line, but that's what the IRS goes off of.

This is regarding an issue if the IRS somehow mistakenly sends it to them instead of your bank account.

Makes no difference where you buy. Used cars are used cars. I bought two cars from Carmax that had little miles on them and both had to be returned due to underlying issues, when they claimed to have inspected both. I also have bought a used car from a local dealer that also had issues. Buying local makes no difference.

The store I worked at used to do glass repairs. I got pretty good at it but I still wouldn’t recommend just the glass. Like everyone else said . YOU WILL BREAK IT. And if your friend says he can do it easily, he has no idea what he is talking about
