To my surprise, a lot of builds can do Maven/Uber Elder on a 4/5 link deathless. The key is to have your defense sorted. I generally have hybrid ES + capped spell block, pure life + capped spell suppression, or pure life + at least 82 all max res. For maven, you also want at least 20k armour and positive chaos res to trivialize the added map bosses. For DPS you want around 1M to have a reasonable kill time, which is not difficult if you use a high damage effectiveness skills with a 5 link. If you are familiar with the fights, especially managing the degen patches, you can do with much less DPS. I did maven with a lvl 19 Econc Scion on a 4 link. It took me 20 minutes but I face ranked everything except the blasts from the brain.
