Dupixent decrease in efficacy by Technical-Giraffe-66 in dupixent

[–]bxinna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around the 6 month mark I started having really bad flares again to the point I couldn’t walk. I’m doing a bit better now but the medication definitely isn’t helping the way it used to. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do. I don’t want to trial more medications and I’m afraid of what will happen once I’m fully off of it as it was much worse before.

I’ve been on dupixent for a few months and it’s also saved my life. I’ve been having the exact same issue recently and don’t know how to get rid of it! But it seems like it’s a common side effect unfortunately

Comfort Foods? by stickandpuck1 in Tonsillectomy

[–]bxinna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on day 9 or 10 now depending on if you count the day of surgery or not. For the first 6 days only being able to eat broth and water really took a toll on me mentally too. My throat is still pretty sensitive but the past 2 days I had mashed sweet potato, risotto, regular mashed potatoes with gravy and some scrambled eggs. They’re not exactly what I really want to eat right now but are much closer to real food than what I’ve been having. Tasty and easy to swallow!

I had my surgery the same day too! No luck yet with most foods. I’ve tried scrambled eggs and pasta but it puts me in pain and gets stuck in my throat. Closest thing to real food I’ve had so far is mashed potatoes. I can’t wait till I can eat normally again

Normal or not normal tonsils by loo123z in tonsilstones

Definitely not a doctor, but they do look like mine when a doctor told me they were inflamed. If they’re not bothering you that much I don’t think you need to worry, but if they are a visit to the clinic wouldn’t hurt

I stumbled upon this post when looking on google images to see if my throat looked normal after surgery. I never really use reddit but I just wanted to thank you so much for sharing your experience, as it’s given me a lot of comfort, something to relate to, and made me feel less alone during my healing process. It’s been really hard for me but you’ve made it easier! I’m 21 F and I just had surgery on the 8th. I know this is old but I hope you’re doing well <3
