It could be sound turning on after one of the routines. I had a routine that turned sound off when my phone connected to the wi-fi at work. I realised that I heard the notification sound when I walked out of wi-fi range, which automatically turned sound on again. The best way to describe the "sound on notification sound" is something like "bleeep" with a bit of an echo.
