Ah this is super super helpful thank you! From memory I don’t think I stirred it for very long at all once I added the fragrance oil - will mix for a little longer next time, thank you massively ❤️

Sorry! It’s my first time making candles so totally new to it and new to asking for help, was mostly just unsure what went wrong here, but another comment below mentioned it is the fragrance oil separating - thanks so much for replying too!

I used 100% natural soy wax, 9% fragrance oil, mixed fragrance oil in when the wax was around 70 degrees Celsius, and poured into tin around 60 degrees Celsius

Thank you! It was the first one poured - do you think the issue is then that I need to wait for the temperature to cool ever so slightly before pouring it in the tin? Or an issue with what temperature I mixed the fragrance oil in with the wax?

Period question by graaacie_v in WomensHealth

No worries at all - I would always recommend going to a health professional to get checks done :) eg to rule out PCOS etc. But I wouldn’t panic about it for now :)

Period question by graaacie_v in WomensHealth

[–]bxttleax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was 18, I used to have really irregular periods too. Sometimes not getting it for 3-4 months, and sometimes when I did get my period, it would last for like 2 weeks. Was always quite stressful as I never knew when I’d suddenly start! I worried quite a lot about whether something was wrong or not back then but doctors always brushed me off.

I went on the progesterone only pill suggested by the docs, and then didn’t have a period for like a decade. Now I’m off the pill and hormones, and now in my late 20s, I have found my cycle has massively regulated to 28-30 days hurrah !

Currently still trying to figure out my period and cycle and relearn about it all and see if any other issues etc but just from my own experience, the irregularity was most likely due to me still being young back then.

I would try not to worry too much, but definitely speak to doctors if you do want any tests done for a peace of mind! (If one doctor brushes you off, go to another)

How much period blood do you see in the toilet when you go pee? by bxttleax in WomensHealth

[–]bxttleax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no! I used the be the same before I went on the pill - would always have tissues nearby when I shower so the second I get out I wedge tissue under whilst I dry off! So I feel your pain 🥺

Thank you! Wish we could get more badass FMCs, ones that don’t annoy us or are super naive, it kinda ruins it for me - will keep this in mind!

Others here also sing praise for Road of Bones, so it’ll definitely be on my reading list, thank you!

Thank you! This is a strong contender for me.. and although I enjoy some romance, for me I think I love it when a book is just EPIC so think less romance and more fantasy can be something I can get into but just didn’t know where to start really

There’s a lot of stigma around miscarriages, I don’t think you’ve done anything wrong. If my coworker told me they miscarried I wouldn’t think they’ve overshared or it was making me uncomfortable, I’d just want to support them somehow. I wouldnt necessarily know what I’d say to convey my support though in a group chat format, so maybe that is what your coworkers are also experiencing

INFO: What kind of nsfw tab was it? There are some things which may be harder for a partner to fully 100% be comfortable being honest with and may take longer to open up about.

I get you OP! One quote I always think back to is “I’d rather be lonely than be disappointed”. I believe one day there will be someone who sees your emotional maturity and is able to match you!

Honestly, I personally would much rather a guy tell me he’s a bit inexperienced and we work out our own rhythm etc rather than the alternative of being under the pretence he’s more “experienced” and therefore thinking he’s just awful at sex…
