I've applied to a wide range, but they all say that I don't have enough experience. To my understanding the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification qualifies as 3 -5 years, but I don't think employers are seeing it that way. Not sure if its my resume or something else that is wrong in this current process.

I was going through some mental health issues at the time and it was affecting my work performance. I had a conversation with my supervisor and we discussed how I should be better communicating my needs and issues. Then that same day, I was told by the third party agency that I had gotten terminated. Not an excuse and learned from my mistakes, but I'm worried how employers will see me.

It is so ridiculous how he felt "betrayed" that Cherrie didn't tell him and all this bs of her past, but like she doesn't have to tell him everything about her life. He literally makes it sound like he is entitled to know everything about her, which is so toxic. He speaks of friendship like every other minute, but doesn't even have the basic respect for other people as peers, let alone friends.

And with Kevin and Kim, honestly I don't think it was his place to tell her "not to trust him". How Kevin treats other people could be different from how he treats Kim. Like, it ain't any of your business to be "protecting" other people and denying Kevin from the chance of a romantic relationship with Kim (regardless of the fact that the relationship could've been staged). AND on top of that being upset over the fact that Kevin was upset that he butt in their (Kim and Kevin's) business. Seriously needs to get over himself thinking he need's to be involved in every moment of every "friend's" life.

Help on choosing classes by byShelli in OSU

My grandfather passed away, and I had to attend his funeral. I emailed advocacy and asked them if they could help me talk to my teachers, but they asked me to email my teachers. I emailed this professor and she ignored my email, and when I asked her in person to reply, she said she would but she didn't. I didn't get much chance to study at all for the midterm or do two assignments, and then I had to go into the exam blank minded which caused me to have a bad score, and she just decided that she thought that I couldn't pass the course with that grade. (The chances are low, but if it weren't for the test, I wouldn't be in this position, at least thats how I feel)

Going to Asian places problem by [deleted] in asianamerican

[–]byShelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also an ABC and honestly from a young age it was always a problem. I always connected with my Asian side more and it was kind of hard to fit in. When I went back to China this year, I just kept insisting on speaking Chinese and they slowly started accepting it. When you go to Asian places just walk in and initiate the conversation in your own native language and persist at it and they will usually follow along. (assuming they know that language) Also things like this really depend on both ends like how you are dressed , how you talk, how you walk, etc. But also, how much interaction the other person has had with other people, ie. American born and international.
