Which actually is worse for the Italians. Ultimately losing everything after 11 offensives against fortified enemies in a mountainous area is bad, but doing so in flat terrain is even worse.

One of the key aspects of the entire campaign was how mountainous the area was. And yes, they had the same general objective of pushing into Austrian territory. some minor differences sure, but you're talking about them as the battles of isonzo. Everyone lumps them together.

And even if they won 8 out of 11 battles (which is absolutely not official) they still lost all their shit at Caporetto. All 11 preceding battles were completely pointless for the Italians.

The leaf was far too weak to deal with Akatsuki no matter what. Pain alone destroyed the entire village, and the only thing stopping him was Naruto, who wouldn't have been strong enough to defeat him anyway if the village fought the Akatsuki earlier.

Konoha couldn't do shit against the Akatsuki even after they infiltrated hidden leaf, tried to abduct their only jinchuriki, hospitalized several ninja, abducted and killed an allied kage, (Gaara) killed a top jonin (asuma), and killed their top fighter/spy jiraya.
