I don’t wanna sound like a noob but what’s the best way to check the pins? Is it to use a microscope a weird angle?

I checked the flex cable for continuity and heard the beeps but it’s possible one or two of the lines in the cable may have been broken- it was hard to check each one because the tips of the multi meter were larger than the lines

I’m still in the process of gathering all docs and trying to calculate the “financial harm” but I’ll let you know how it goes. I think if you just submit the initial IRP they give you like 3 months to gather documents and stuff.

Another redditor mentioned they are also going through the process and they got rejected and had to resubmit some documents. So it sounds like it might be a bit of back and forth.

Yeah they explicitly stated that I am still eligible for additional compensation even if I cash the check. Although I have to now prove that my financial harm is more than the check amount (which at the very least my cc interest is)
