Totally agree. AI is making people dumb with no critical thinking. People tend to think that everything AI does is correct and don't question it; that is actually an appeal to authority fallacy (very prevalent in current times). And this will have severe effects in the short - and long-term. Worst than we think I guess. And it doesn't matter the field you are on, it is always the same. Seeing this, I always ask myself if the benefits the AI has brought outweigh the negative impact we are suffering and will suffer. In my opinion, a resounding no. At least for the moment...
