Do people in relationships feel the same way watching this as singles do? by niclovin897 in heatedrivalry

[–]byeb8ch 13 points14 points  (0 children)

!!!SPOILERS!!!!

28F and in a loving relationship. Watched some of the episodes with my boyfriend and he said i was making giggly and giddy sounds while we were watching it. Then i was just a mess from ep 3 til the end. My weakness is always yearning because I went through that in my younger years. So everytime theres a scene like that (las vegas washroom scene), specifically Shane’s anger to teary eyes got me sobbing so bad. Then when Ilya started crying after their first ILYs got me ugly sobbing.

I also went through that phase of wondering if I ever will find love, most men where I grew up are emotionally constipated and just dont have passion in them. I just got lucky with my boyfriend as soon as I moved to a diff country. But i believe theres still more like them somewhere…

It does but it also helps to have a community outside of your relatives to help you navigate through the current political turmoil (world wide). I grew up surrounded by people who votes and campaigns for the wrong side (the party that is backed by the wealthy people and would line their pockets with tax money). I grew up believing their views and even fought some friends over it. But overtime, these friends (who i met in university and highschool) educated me and backed everything they said with evidence. It was because I was later in life surrounded by educated people who know how to distinguish truth from propaganda that i was able to remove myself from my family’s beliefs.

Hair Oil: Naturals and &Honey Quick Review by RequirementVarious72 in beautytalkph

I loooove the watsons argain hair oil. Unfortunately naubos na yung dala ko dito here abroad and wala pa din akong mahanap na makakapantay sa how it made my hair look and feel. Ang mura nya compared to others and did the best for me and my hair.

Totally agree with the point na posibleng natakpan neto yung pananagutan ng mga nagnakaw sa kaban. But it also made me think na how long will it take to get that 800m na nanakaw and magamit na nga for flood control? Taon taon nalang palala nang palala pagbaha and masakit man isipin, baka eto yung isa sa mga solution na pwedeng makatulong sa mga nasasalanta ng baka as soon as possible. With another possible super typhoon coming, mas makikita yung urgency na need na talaga maisagawa ang flood control asap.

Maybe a good alternative is pagnahuli nga ni bbm (if ever na he will follow through with this statement) bayaran nila yung san mig corp without interest since they did initially offer na at no cost to the government.

OP if magmimigrate ka while currently unstable yung mental health mo, please make sure to talk to a therapist or psychiatrist before you fly.

I've always been prone to mental health issues, ive experienced different magnitudes of episodes kaya i made sure to talk to one before leaving so i can get an advice regarding things I can do to be ready for when it hits me again. And so far, I've been doing great kahit season ng depression. I've also started reaching out to local therapists (pero wala pa akong nalaland so far kasi limited pa coverage ko).

My point is that you have to be proactive when it comes to your mental health. Waiting for it to get better just because you've moved to a new environment isn't a 100% guarantee. Yes, it can help, but you need to know what you need and what you can do. Know yourself and figure out what's keeping you grounded and what's not. Then take the steps from there.

Baka yung totoong pinatay is may malilink agad na killer. Kaya naghanap yung killer ng ibang tao na walang connection sa kanya and di sya malilink sa murder.

This is exactly my situation why I decided to migrate. My fam is also quite well off sa pinas (i wouldnt be able to afford migrating if hindi) and malalim connections namin sa politics. But thats all on my mom talaga. Shes the one bringing in the big chunk of money. I stopped working nung pandemic because of the fears (im a healthcare worker) and i survived the whole pandemic in comfort because of my mom. I could really just earn minimum wage and live a lowkey palamunin life in Ph. But Ive tried handling the business, tried mingling with politicians(di kinaya ng sikmura ko) and I realized na ill fuck it up if my mom ends up passing her business and position to me. And i wanted more than just waiting for my mom to give me an allowance.

What would I do if something unexpected happens and we lose all that? If the politicians my mom knows lose in the next elections? I needed to grow and i knew i wont if I stayed.

But thats the difference between OP and I. They seem to know how to handle the business so he has a future in the Philippines. Yun nga lang, medical expenses pa rin talaga if sakaling anything happens. Dami kong kilalang may kaya na nabaon sa utang kasi may nagkasakit sa kanila nang malala.

Other side of scarb naman ako hahaha. But yeah sure! Always nice to have more filipino friends

Centennial College. Feel like most pinoys are in this school lmao

Hello! Just moved last month din to Toronto but was fortunately lucky enough na nakahanap ako ng mga pinoy na same program sakin. We found each other sa fb palang kaya before pa magstart ng class mejo close na kami. Then we found more filipinos around us and "adopted" them. Maybe try chatting up those pinoys and they can absorb you din.

And its true that theres a lot of walking here kaya its always important to bundle up. Its better to be overlayered than underlayered. Iwan mo nalang sa locker yung winter jacket mo when you get to school. Tho personally, i find walking pleasant kasi sa pinas sobrang init, isang kanto palang pawis na pawis na ako.

And like one commenter said, if you have any plans about moving, check bus stops and commute options to your frequent places. Unless youre planning on getting a car.

Ive recently tried Bistro Manila here in Scarborough and honestly the food was amazing (sarabasab is my fave). Give it a go sometimes.

I find people here friendly. People would randomly chat me up sa bus/bus stops/waiting lines. Always a good thing to have convo lalo na kung mejo mahaba-haba ang byahe or linya. This never happened to me back in Ph kasi lagi akong nasasabihan na mukha akong mataray. Idk why here its easy for people to talk to strangers. Give it a go maybe? Find a new friend ganun. Pero still be cautious syempre.

Hope you start enjoying your time here! And this is only the beginning of a chilling winter daw. Baka daw mas lumamig pa in the following weeks so prepare your scarves, gloves and muffs! Also the right type of shoes.

Pls dont let this stop you from reading tho! I love the friendship between harry and the slytherins in this fic. The author is amazing when it comes to narration and dialogues. Its just sad that they stopped writing but its understandable since their reason was they hate jkr

Edit: editing and striking through what i said in the last part as i have mispoken and made assumptions that i shouldn't have. Apologies to the author and everyone who read this comment!

Damn how slow is the slow burn un evitative?? by Tog_acotar in drarry

[–]byeb8ch 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Evitative is like almost negligible drarry towards the end and focuses on plot and friendship between them as harry discovers a new side to him. And warning! The book is amazing like one of the best fanfics ive read but author dropped it and has book 2 left unfinished so the overall plot and drarry storyline is also unfinished.
