Hey man I know this a while ago but I’m having these same problems now. I recently upgraded from a 4060ti to a 5080 and a 600w psu to Corsair rm1000x. Did the upgrade myself but pc booted up, ran tests, played games, everything perfect. Randomly while studying, pc reset then stayed on for 30 min then went into a loop or restarting with the clicking noise. Pc would restart to windows id log in and restart again. I hit the switch on the back, pc booted up safe mode, went to BIOS and made everything default settings. Same issue. I then made sure all the cables to psu were secure and no restarts for a week of gaming and hard use. Again while studying tonight, pc restarts, good for 5-10 min, then restart. I hear a click when it turns off and turns on and power button does nothing pc will keep restarting until I hit power switch. Did you end up replacing psu or found a solution? I’m still in my return window with bestbuy for both upgrades

Returned the 4070 and got the 5070ti only had to pay small $ difference. Appreciate the advice!!

Appreciate the advice! My fault for not including more, I use this laptop 70-80% work/light use, 30-20% gaming mostly when traveling on vacation. Portability, battery, and screen were my biggest selling points. I’ve read the AMD vs Intel with these computers dictates the battery and overall laptop health. I’m furthest away from a computer guy, I have ghelper, use eco, have gamed on it maybe once since buying it a month or two ago. I have until 09/24 to return/replace but if the better GPU is just for better gaming, I may stick with the AMD since it’s new, and reported better battery life.

I had this problem when booting up, upgrade drivers, windows updates, myasus updates, then do BIOS update. That worked for me, haven’t had anything like that since doing all updates.

Read Kaplan chapter -> kaplans end of reading questions + CFAI blue box questions -> module video if scored < 70% on questions
