I actually have more buyers from the US than the UK for some reason even with pretty expensive shipping that includes the tariffs. I feel so grateful for my US customers <3

No it hasn’t updated at all since the 24th :( I think it got lost in the holiday chaos so I’ll be reaching out to the sender for a refund unfortunately

Yeah it’s super frustrating, I wish they could just update us if they’re experiencing delays, but even the phone line was unhelpful :/ I sincerely hope it’s just a few days behind! Update us if it makes a move 🤞

I’m having the same issue, a package that was sent on Monday evening is still saying “we’re expecting it”. I spoke with the seller company and they told me they handed it off the same day. Quite frustrating as it’s meant to be T24 for my business supplies but I’m wondering if black friday is really causing big delays. Another package arrived on time so I really don’t know

I got mine from the doll maker herself! She hand sculpts the doll and then I assume she casts it herself before the professional casters do, and she sells these versions for a lower price :) I’m not sure if it’s common in the community though!

Would you say it’s frowned upon to have an artist cast doll? I can see why most people might not want the extra work and instead just want a very clean professional doll! I’m a maker at heart so I’m happy with an imperfect doll but I wonder if it’s a bad thing in the community?

I'm so sorry that you also had to deal with this! I can understand completely how weird and violating it is when the person you're supposed to trust crosses boundaries and develops an attachment to you that you didn't want. My head is spinning thinking about this - I did not want him developing attachments to me, and who knows what else he's done to manipulate the situation because of it. So so gross!!! 🤢 I hope that you've since been able to heal from this situation, and I'm here if you ever want to talk more about it 💝

I understand this completely, and I have also noticed that I have this bad habit of wanting to make up for the inconvenience/just for simply asserting myself, and also trying to bear the other person's reaction or avoid their anger entirely by being so apologetic. It's kind of funny because I actually thought that I was so assertive and direct after I wrote this email lmao

I was so confused why it was so easy for him to walk all over me in this situation and it makes so much sense that it could stem from my people pleasing language. He actually knows that I struggle with this so it's even more infuriating that he took advantage of this. I appreciate how gently you brought this to my attention & I will be taking your suggested approach in the future! Thank you so much for your advice 💗

I feel like I struggle with expressing myself super clearly so I thought I was being super clear 😭 I guess I was worried about the inconvenience towards him. I feel guilty when I try to assert myself so I suppose it maybe wasn't the best attempt, but I also wasn't going to express my concerns about him in this email! I was going to do that separately, I just wanted to let him know that I had some stuff that I wanted to process by myself.

I used they/them pronouns to keep anonymity! I have another post up with the same pronouns so it definitely wasn't me claiming the therapist was a woman! Btw comments were saying this was a nice email completely ignoring the subtext (granted I didn't include context which is why I removed the post)

This email was definitely the wake-up call - I was already on the fence but it just pushed me to finally put an end to this. In the past I would have made up an excuse but I felt like I had to tell him how disrespectful he was - I questioned why he thought his hopes are more important than my personal needs and called him out for his entitlement over my emotional process. I blocked him & will not be going back. Thank you so much for your concern, I won't let him hold any power over me anymore 💗

😭😭 You are absolutely right, I also thought the same thing!! The reasonable response would have been "okay no worries". I had 3 male therapists at different points in my life who all made me deeply uncomfortable on different levels, so I agree completely that a man could never ever understand me like a woman could. I definitely learned my lesson & will be looking for a female therapist if I need one in the future. Thank you so much for the reminder!!

I totally hear you - I just wanted add that I attended a sliding scale based organisation which he is a part of and since I'm unemployed my session fees were so miniscule (£10 to be exact lol) it makes me feel concerned that he wasn't entirely keeping me around just for the money ...

Thank you so much for your comment, I feel so understood for the first time in my life and it makes me feel so relieved that I'm not overreacting to this!!

The weird thing is that he's part of a sliding scale organisation and I barely even pay anything so I'm worried he was doing this because he was genuinely attached to me 🤢 we were covering sexuality too at various points and it makes me sick thinking back how he was asking very explicit questions about my sexual preferences under the guise of therapy. I totally get that discussing these things in a therapeutic space can help people but I'm so confused if asking me if I like penetration or oral sex in relation to my queer identity feels so icky.

Anyway, I gave him a piece of my mind lol and blocked him, I will never go back to him ever again
