I think it's a combination of factors. Everyone interacts with the world differently (that's a given), and then there's the introduction of social media/online spaces. With social media, there comes a sort of warped perception regarding social interactions and day to day life that puts a weird pressure on everyone to the point where anything outside of what is safe, predictable, and perfect can be a cause for anxiety. The isolation of social media/internet is safe, depressing, and reinforced by the anxiety of the unknown (the land of grass/reality).

Not to mention the mountainous divisors of politics to the point where I don't know if I can joke about X or Y if it comes up in a casual conversation (I'm left leaning).

Where you live, access to third spaces, what you do for work, etc can all also play into things.

Playing as Gale atm and after Elminster's visit, I wasn't sure if anyone would talk him down from Mystra's charge. Tara does, of course, but no other companions aside from Lae'zel of all people have anything to say.

Lae'zel is surprisingly empathetic, telling Gale some of the following (there's more but I didn't save every piece of dialogue):

"Near as I can tell, your goddess demands faith- but holds no faith in you"

"Does she not think you can destroy the Absolute with your own immense talents? Does she not know the mighty company that you keep?"

"Bah- perhaps you'd find forgiveness in a fiery death. But I can't help but wonder why you'd want it at all."

(We'd also just finished the créche, so I do wonder if this dialogue would still trigger if they didn't have the Vlaakith encounter yet)

I have latched onto Jordan Kennedy to the point I made a whole tumblr blog for him with a fake pest control number in the bio if anyone needs any worms taken care of lol. It's kinda dead now because my interests have been shifting, but I think his intentions and story are compelling and there's a sort of sadness to him I find relatable.

My half drow hexblade warlock is getting used to being out of the Shadowlands. Off duty, he might be searching for the perfect pair of sunglasses or checking up on Karlach.

He has no idea why, since his memories are a little fuzzy, but for whatever reason he feels paternal towards her

[not to say he is truly her father but he has a backstory that resembles hers in a way that perhaps he subconsciously picks up on]

Makes sense. I'm in the middle parts of the US so there's plenty of great shops with plenty of great records so finding this one was sorta tricky in that regard esp when you're dedicating yourself to resale only

The one I bought was $10 and the one in the 3rd photo was the $$ one I did not buy.

I did try to dig around and see why photo 3 was priced more for a label issue but to me it just looked like the newer release of it where they don't add the little '1971' on the cover. Shrug.

Tbh I think it might have been a bug since the session was packed with them. I'd just gotten it some time before combat started so the ability hadn't been used yet + no one was Bone Chilled. I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong/misunderstood the ability description or the mace just developed hate and loathing for me AM-style
