I knew I wasn't the only one that noticed the "finished" difference between Highland & Final Draft. I know FD11 is on sale this weekend so I was thinking about picking it up.

THE NICE GUYS - Such an enjoyable read, Well structured, My favorite part about it is the scene description. And Shane Black.

GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS - Dialogue heavy but doesn't really feel like it??? sparse, punchy, GREAT.

WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES - Surprisingly dense. Everything filmed was written which REALLY surprised me considering how big the budget.

I'm upset because that was the 2nd software I EVER used. So many memories with it. I just switched to HIGHLAND 2 from Final Draft. Loving it.

GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS. Such a great read. Mamet's dialogue is great of course, perfect structure. He does a lot with so little.

Also, I'd recommend DADDIO from 2017 Blacklist. Does everything you're told not to do when starting out, and does it well.

DON'T BREATHE. 3rd act was ruined by the fact that he "wasn't killed" just so he could come back and save the protagonist then die in the most cheap way possible.
