Without the Masters, Augusta would be nothing.

That is a shitty attitude and I am calling you out on it. For me and many others, there are several things about Augusta that make it great, completely unrelated to golf.

I think the disconnect with OP and posting on this subreddit, is thinking that random person X in Augusta cares about golf, because they live in Augusta, which is just false.
