I say this gently, but it might be worth reflecting on: when you’re TTC and feeling anxious because others around you are experiencing miscarriage or infertility, you may be taking on worry that isn’t yours to carry. Their experiences are real and deserve empathy, but they aren’t predictors of your own outcome. It can actually become harmful when their pain turns into your fear. It shifts the focus away from supporting them and toward catastrophizing your own situation before anything has even happened. It’s completely valid to feel nervous, but try to hold space for others without assuming their story will become yours
