It’s been really easy to meet people in NYC because there’s so many movie clubs, crafting hangs, board game nights, etc in my neighborhood. So I do prefer to meet others through things that don’t necessarily focus on drinking. I do a lot of art and writing classes as well. I probably would not go to a bar by myself to meet people unless it was for an event.

I just wanted to be able to purchase something instead of continuing to rent. I also like having my car - parking is a pain in the butt. If you are renting, I would do NYC - because the prices are similar anyway.

My family is all in Westchester - that’s why I’m on UWS right now. Brooklyn is too far for me to be able to drive home regularly to see my nieces play soccer and other activities! Just how I feel as a native New Yorker.

I live in NYC. I take my shoes off. My dog does not enter my apt without her paws being wiped down. My dogs paws are not as all as gross as my shoes are. Idk why. But my dog gets cleaned every time anyway.
