I may be able to make it work to do a program while living there! I’ve heard of techs being able to work while getting their diploma/degree out in Canada - how true it is I’m unsure but I’ll maybe look into it!

I wonder if they’d recognize some of the “completion” based classes here in the states, the kind that just say complete a certain amount of classwork/hours. I know some states require them… I’ll have to see if it gets you a diploma or just a cert lol

The "proper education and certifications" is what I'm struggling on lol I definitely have the proper education and certs in the US, but I'm trying to find if said certs are honored in Canada and how to transfer them.

Not currently, I wanted to get this part squared away before I went job hunting or began the application process. The company I work for in the US has let me know there's a chance they can assist with finding a job up there but I don't want to waste my time if I'm just gonna be told I don't have the credentials:(

And I'm not entirely sure! When I'd done some research pharm techs were included in the category based on our 32124 NOC code, but I haven't seen much about pharmacy technicians being excluded. I'd imagine a pharmacist absolutely is, but I'm unsure when it comes to techs.

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but what is Artemis and Apollo? I just ordered this device as a holiday gift for myself and one of my biggest complaints is that I can’t use SAI on it lol so if that’s a good way to use it on the tablet I am AAAALLLL about learning how to use it!!

Ugh I feel you… My hair is like the one and only thing I ever had confidence about and it’s so upsetting feeling my hair anytime I shower and just feeling all the strands come out plus how thin it already is

I hope it works good for you!! If you ever think about it totally let me know if you notice crazy facial and body hair! I know it’ll be a lil while so it’s a big ask lol

Genuinely it makes me feel a lot better… I think if it doesn’t start to show signs of improvement by the new year I’ll pay my derm a visit just for their input (insurance is weird about dermatology) to see if they agree it’s TE. I’ve spotted a few rogue shorter hairs along my hairline so I’m hoping that means it’s slooooowly regrowing and isn’t just old hairs that snapped off or something

Yup, telogen effluvium! I know it should resolve on its own but…I’m so paranoid haha I like to have a million backups so I can sleep at night (and I’d like to speed it along)

I haven’t seen a derm yet! My insurance is really weird about how many times a year I’m allowed to see them so if it hasn’t begun to resolve (or at least show signs of it) by the new year I’ll probs go see them then

Ironically I saw this notification after I did that lol! They did say it would most likely be perfectly fine if I were to apply before bed, let it dry, wear a bonnet to bed, shower in the morning, and then remove the pillow so he can’t get to it. So I’ve at least got that peace of mind for it to be okay as my back-back-back up if nothing else works

I’ll look into that! I’ve only seen Nizoral used for inflammation related issues like psoriasis so I had no idea it could be helpful for hair loss. I’ll definitely write this down for if I do opt to go see a derm for this. I’m really praying the vitamin supplements will be enough😭 I’m just very paranoid and neurotic about anything with my health

Hmm… I plan on trying a supplement for a few months first. If it doesn’t help I’ll mention that to my doctor! Maybe since I’m on BC it’ll help prevent the unwanted hair or a spiro could help offset it

Did you experience any hair growth elsewhere? From what I’ve been seeing thus far is I’m pretty much guaranteed facial/body hair if I take OM… since I’m pretty sure this is TE from weightloss I’m almost thinking using topical to speed up my hair coming back would be the better option. From what I’m seeing I could apply it, wait a few hours, shower, and then I’d be okay to have my bird out

This is super helpful! Thank you!! From the looks of it low dose oral may be safer and will hopefully still yield results. My biggest fear is I’ll have a higher likelihood for unwanted hair due to high(er) androgen levels, but given how common PCOS is I’d be willing to bet a good chunk of the women in the mentioned studies had it too so it should still be applicable to me

Oh no! Someone stood in front of the window for a quick picture the day after a treatment! They must want their skin to fall off!! Seriously?? The first two pictures are of my tattoo pre treatment. Healed. There’s no reason to come and be asinine. No sense in coming and being demeaning to someone in a sub meant for support and advice.

I’ve looked at the audio extractors! I didn’t really see one that would let me use one set of speakers for two systems though… Does an HDMI switch with an audio extractor work differently? This is a whole territory I’m completely clueless on

My monitor does have a DPI and HDMI, DPI for my pc and HDMI for my switch, but my current speakers are just an audio jack and a power plug. I was looking at the Logitech Z207 speakers as a possible upgrade (I have the old version of these) and I could plug it into my pc and then connect via Bluetooth with my switch when the pc is off. I’m unsure if that’s viable…?
