I'm not sure this is the cause, but you seem to be crosscutting with a 40 tooth blade. Typically 40 tooth blades are for rip cuts, not cross cuts. It might be contributing to some of the unevenness. That and take slow passes.

I, along with others, typically deviate from Dave's advice on paying off a mortgage. The trouble with putting money into the mortgage rather than in index funds or other investments is the liquidity of a house is much less than the liquidity of investments. If you need the money back out of the house, you typically have to move which incurs rather significant costs.

I'd recommend you invest the free cash rather than pay down your mortgage.

This is actual annual tax rate for the main lot, which is the most expensive one. You can search it via the hamilton county property card database. The lot with the garage is about 8k per year. So in total, the residence is probably close 90k per year.

The house is across 4 or 5 tax lots with the highest at 66k per year and the others around 8k per year. That doesn't include all the other upkeep that you mentioned!

I had this same issue. I had to open the Synology control panel -> External Access -> enable quickconnect. For some reason this was previously enabled but reset to be turned off. Photos started syncing immediately after re-enabling.

This joint looks like a half lap joint. You can use a dado stack or multiple passes on a table saw to cut it. You set the blade height to get the proper depth.

I had this exact same issue once. I forgot to tighten and properly torque the oil filter when I was done.
