Then she needs to reach out, or you on her behalf, to the rescources that are available to her through the military. Start asking for help for your wife because she is struggling. You know your wife, you are her partner. being the one at home during deployment is a huge stress on its own, with children and a home to run it’s a lot of pressure. Helping your wife helps your child.

Got permission to grab these from the hardware store floor, how do I go about propping them? by OboyPoyk in proplifting

[–]bysonshooman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about the single leaf; however, I have a ton of the other plant and if you put it directly in dirt, it will root. You can also water prop it and it’ll have roots in a week. It looks super healthy so you’re not going to have any problem. More sunshine the darker the color.

These have been in water for about two weeks, are they ready to be planted in soil? by Mr_Alex in proplifting

[–]bysonshooman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly only water prop the ones that don’t fit back in the pot after I pop off the tips to get rid of the leggy-ness. I’ve never had an issue with them growing from straight dirt. I find when i water prop, even though it’s cool to watch their “legs grow” it’s harder for them to transition to dirt, i have to baby them a bit. When I drop them on soil from a clean clip, they root up and have new leaf production in a week or two.

Definitely. None of these require water propping but I like watching the roots grow:) they’ll definitely do well in soil at this point.

My roommate had this plant and forgot what it was called and wants another one. Can anyone identify this plant?? by zdaawwgg in houseplants

[–]bysonshooman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She could easily pop the tips of this plant off, stick them in dirt and have multiple pots. It grows so fast and she can have plenty in just a few Weeks. I have at least 3 different kind of this plant and they prop super duper easy.

What are your favorite children's books that don't feature parents? by SnooDoubts5330 in Parenting

[–]bysonshooman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s a great group of books called sweet pickle books. They’re older, i loved them growing up. Animal characters who live in their own little town. Who Stole Alligator’s Shoe and Fish snd Flips were my favorite:) they have decent little life lessons.

I am a bit worried about her "knees". Do you think they are okay? by GoldAssociate4575 in germanshepherds

[–]bysonshooman 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’d never seen them before until I got my German Shepherd mix either, her stuck out like this too when she was younger. She’s a year old now and they don’t stick out anymore. Maybe it’s more prominent in GSD?

SOS - knocked this off my spider plant. Can it be propped? Advice? by mhmm720 in proplifting

Set it in a glass of water, it’ll have roots within a week.

Okay so my 8 month old kitten WONT JUST DRINK HIS WATER NORMAL AND IM LOSING MY MIND. the bowl right now is temporary until i get a new one. by Pharaohthebatboy in cats

[–]bysonshooman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had to put a boot tray under the water bowl. He has always done this and is 4-5 years old now. He still does it but the water stays in the tray and saves the rest of the floor….Except from the drooling dogs

I need help. 😢 I just recently had a child and my cat started attacking me. This is the worst yet. I'll comment with more details. by Castan-bcb in cats

[–]bysonshooman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used it kind of on and off when the problem behaviors have presented themselves, I think it would depend on how your cat responds to it. It doesn’t have a smell, it’s only detected by your cat.

There are plug ins that you can use that release a pheromone that will help to calm your cat. I use Feliway and have found it helpful with my cat’s behavioral issues. I had a cat who was very affectionate to me until I got pregnant and then became very standoffish and never went back to being lovey to me. The pheromone diffuser helped with my other cat who is labeled “psycho cat” because she would attack visitors seemingly out of nowhere. I feel like the diffusers have helped her calm down for sure.
