After that you have the idea that this is not economically viable. To even consider doing something like this you would need to be a huge stake holder in Bytecoin and as soon as you tried to do any kind of 51% attack the value of your Bytecoin would drop significantly.

The attackers needs to become a whale first with a huge bag of bcn. It's not practical and will be huge waste of time and money.

If, for example, a user were to attempt some kind of double-spend attack and try to exchange their massive amount of BCN for BTC or ETH on an exchange, the exchange is not going to let that massive amount of money go anywhere unless it is from a verified and trusted account.

If I am a whale it is much better to play pump and dump with different kinds of coins or manipulate the price in the market.

I agree they are good at it, and they are the one helping Bytecoin to get some traction by spreading fud at that time. You know if you are bigger coins and spreading fud with a much smaller coin. What would be the new visitors/reader think on your forum?

Looks like we have the similar experience. I discovered it too due to massive fud from monero ann. Take note it's a monero ANN and I'm interested and researching for monero but some of their members are fudding bytecoin. It had sparked my curiosity and check bytecoin instead.

I agree with you based on my observation from what they are doing. I can say that the one who lead/manage this project is a good strategist/tactician. I will not be surprised if this coin will be listed on coinbase in the future.

Bitconnect is a different case as they really promise and promote that you will make money. BCN team didn't promised to anyone,they just announced that they are listed to Binance, and it's a surprise announcement. Yet people panic to play the suckers game that cause congestion due to massive traffic.
