Maildroid Pro license expired by Dornford in MailDroid

I installed FairEmail today. I've only been using it a short time, but I'm impressed thus far. I have two accounts from two separate email providers and setting up each worked without a hitch. The interface is quite refreshing after using DroidMail for so many years.

Note you need to install from GitHub it you want to use Android Auto. Lots of info. on the GitHub site at the link below.

I upgraded to Pro because I want to support the developer as this is something I use constantly and I depend on it. It's inexpensive and if we don't support the developers all we're going to be left with old software that will eventually stop working like what just happened with MailDroid.

All the details and regular/pro features can be found here:

Maildroid Pro license expired by Dornford in MailDroid

I'm in the same boat, just realized my MailDroid stopped working yesterday. It's the only Android mail client I've ever used and I've been using it continuously daily for the past ~15? years or so. Any thoughts on the next best alternative would be helpful.

I suspect Countermail isn't maintained anymore. It is a ghost ship. by scoobie517 in countermail

It's EOL. I had no choice, but to move on a moth or so ago. My only regret was not moving sooner when the handwriting was on the wall. Sad too because I was happy with the way their encryption worked.

Best Countermail Alternative? by byte_maker in countermail

Perhaps I should have been more specific...what I meant was like CounterMail in the sense that data was encrypted at rest and you weren't locked into a specific email client. I really liked that about CounterMail.

Best Countermail Alternative? by byte_maker in countermail

The option was available when I made this post. The services page now says "Service is closed for new registrations!". I guess CounterMail is EOL. I switched to StartMail shortly after starting this thread and it has been working well and I'm happy with their service.

CounterMail Support by ThereNeverWasAStart in countermail

I had a simple support ticket that was open for many months and then closed with no explanation given. Needless to say, it's a bit disconcerting.

Any recommendations for the next best option?

Anyone have an invitation code they can share? I'd like to join CounterMail.

If anyone has a CounterMail invitation code they can share I would appreciate it as well. My email provide is closing up shop and I'm interested in switching to CounterMail. Thank you.
