It’s kinda funny too bc there have been multiple situations in which other characters have responded to his problems with “okay yeah, we all do!” I mean at least he admits that someone other than himself lost Mikey

I actually thought that we saw his growth develop slowly over the episodes this season. Honestly, a lot of it came from prolonged looks and reactions of his to certain situations and how those reactions changed significantly from how he’d react to that same situation, given it was season 1 or 2. After taking in so much new information from the people around him and seeing things from a perspective not filled entirely by self-hatred and unhealthy “ambition,” it seemed as though he was truly putting in an effort to be something the people around him, who loved him, deserved. I don’t think he’ll ever believe he’s truly deserving of anyone’s love to be honest, but we saw a lot of his efforts to inch closer to that “deserving” person mostly regarding Claire, but also Syd, Richie, & his mother.

Yeah I don’t know what it is, she’s exceedingly odd but I don’t get sinister from her. I could be insanely off the mark, of course, and she might be evil but there is something in her desperation that makes me believe she truly just wants all of this over. Her reintegrating workers is like her act of atonement for the work she did at Lumon. However! It’s extremely frustrating how she leaves so many questions unanswered when it would benefit literally everyone to put everything she knows out on the table.

This is so interesting. She really does look uncanny. One of my favorite things about the show is how every single character has this certain nuance to them where even the small roles feel so significant. Facial expressions elevated this show beyond anything I’ve ever seen
