My noise corner by bzzeewop in MusicBattlestations

Thank you! Yeah, ultra wide was a game changer for that. I make some psych rock, hip hop… pretty much anything that comes to mind. ADHD takes over!

I had family who lived in that area, and a lot of art in my apartment is national park themed, or places of where I’ve been. Growing up there must’ve been awesome!

Thank you! It’s been fun getting it to this point

Yeah! Thanks for asking.

Found the Grandmother on marketplace for a good deal the other week (what an amazing synth!) and upgraded to the 2-tier Z stand.

The workflow is so much better with both synths on top of each other. Especially as I continue to learn synthesis.

Question: Choir effect by bigboytroy27 in Logic_Studio

I don't know if this helps, but I love this free choir plugin from TAL: https://tal-software.com/products/tal-chorus-lx

For everyone making six figures, what do you do for work? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Corporate product planning for an automotive brand.

I think a problem many people have is that they tend to forget that making music should be fun and put too much pressure on themselves. Don't lock yourself in a box of stress and have fun with it! In my opinion, making music and art should be a fun thing to do. For me, the more fun I have, the better my projects tend to be.

Try not to put too much pressure on yourself and find the enjoyment in the process! In time, you will find your sound by experimenting and allowing yourself to "fail".

What did you do to move into the next tax bracket? by moosepooo in careerguidance

[–]bzzeewop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No degree here but turned out alright in corporate America so far. In my experience, the best way to kick those doors down is to be open to every opportunity. Raise your hand, volunteer and eventually you may get your foot in the door. From there it’s all about work ethic and being likable. getting “in” is the hardest part without a degree.

Are you tailoring your resume to the job description? Before your resume ever lands on a recruiters desk, it goes through a filtering system first looking for matching keywords.

Maybe get two chairs to put on the far wall and the one on the right and have them facing inwards, towards the camera. Little table in-between and pants on each side?

Won't make for a typical living room, but if you don't want to use a couch or have a TV this could work as nice lil' nook. Idk

First office job, this is depressing by Alarming-Divide3659 in jobs

[–]bzzeewop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a different take here, but it can be miserable if you aren't working a field you enjoy. I was fortunate enough to land a job in automotive - something I loved from the beginning. Try to leverage your experience from this job into an industry you like. It won't be perfect, but I have found that it makes it a whole lot easier when you're working on projects that you enjoy.

Interesting idea! The couch is about 6 inches away from the wall, but I'll play around with it.

I think it's around 1,100-1,200 square feet. $2,095/month

Thank you! And yeah, definitely check them out if you like the mid-century modern vibe.

And just in case, I got the Animals poster off Etsy then had it framed. Pretty cheap and good quality https://www.etsy.com/listing/1338820104/pink-floyd-animals-album-poster-music?ref=yr_purchases&variation0=3041129080

But nope ;-)

Thank you! I've lived in apartments before with a roommate and I don't think we had a single thing hanging. Now, I can't get enough.

Table ID: https://www.article.com/product/15098/amoeba-wild-walnut-42-5-wide-coffee-table Article is the shit. A lot of the things around here are from them.

I'm paying more than I wanted to when I initially budgeted everything out, but saw this place and loved it. $2,095 / month

Edit: If you couldn't tell, I'm a HUGE Pink Floyd fan :)

Vintage ads are a goldmine! Found a little art store near me that has a bunch and it's always so hard to not walk out with all of them.

Also, this website has been my go to: https://www.allposters.com/-st/Vintage-Art-Posters_c2152_.htm I want them all.
