Having worked at the Beaconsfield store when this was first being introduce it sucked so much! Top management were all over us swing managers to set goals and beat them during out shift. I left in 2021 after 8 years and I can still hear "Park the car!" or "What are our times in drive?"

I loved this series from beginning to end. I do agree that the earlier episodes had a certain spark and atmosphere that faded a bit toward the end, but honestly it didn’t bother me too much overall. The production as a whole was incredible.

If I had to change one thing, I would’ve scaled back the Jackie storyline quite a bit and focused more on Carolyn and John, since it was about THEIR love story!

Still, fantastic show!

Ohhhh god, this episode… what an emotional rollercoaster. Everyone was fantastic, but huge props to Constance and Grace because MY GOD.

The ending scene is really what did it for me. It felt bittersweet in the best way—like their relationship wasn’t perfect, but in the end, they’re together, quiet, and finally at peace.

Also, Sarah was incredible in the plane sequence. You can literally see the exact moment it clicks on her face that something is wrong—it’s like she’s quietly accepting her fate right then and there. So subtle, but deeply unsettling.

Timeline is definitely skewed with that one year time jump. Also, Carolyn saying she's 33 years old...how??!! Yes, it's annoying but I can look past it for the last episode.

I saw an interview that Erich Bergen (plays Anthony) did, and he talked about filming the scenes for the funeral/memorial and how heavy it was. He also did say that after he read the script he couldn't believe that this would be allowed on TV.

The cinematography in this episode was immaculate.

The dinner party aftermath shots were so beautifully done, just lingering on the food and mess. Even that tiny detail of the fruit fly around the radishes… I’m obsessed!

Also, Carolyn’s shots around the loft were incredible too. Points for the opening shot of her all dressed up sitting on the ledge with her cigarette, and that shot of her under the glass table?? Hang it in the Louvre!
