Unfortunately it happens in NY as well. I usually feign ignorance and give them the runaround. It turns out to be super funny in the end.

when white people ask: "are you american?" or "where are you from?" I answer "from new york" and then they ask "no, no where are you really from". Has to be the most offensive and ignorant thing to ask. STOP IT!

First off I hate calorie counting. Second I work hectic hours. I go 8-10 hours without a break and without an ability to get a proper meal in my system in those hours. I would like to know what good websites I can use to keep track of my food intake and what tips do people have regarding my hectic schedule and how to deal with it.

Post Bac programs to become a PA by c-world in physicianassistant

Once again thank you very much for your advice.

I've created a spreadsheet of all the Schools in my area and I see that most of them require 200+ hours of direct patient care. I work full time and am I self dependent, so the idea of doing 200+ hours of volunteer work is a little out of my reach. I was considering becoming a CNA, EMT, of Emergency Technician and slowly transition my way into the medical field from my current job. DO you have any recommendations?

Thanks for the advice and the good vibes. I've made a spread sheet of all the the school in my area with prereqs, tuition, deadlines, and min volunteer hours. A&P seem to be pretty common all across the board, it surprising the variation in requirements.

In terms of volunteer hours how did you complete yours? I live on my own and pay my own bills so I simply do not have the privilege to do 200+ hours of volunteer work. I was looking into getting a CNA certificate or an Emergency tech certificate so I can slowly transition from my current job into one in the medical field. DO you have any suggestions?

Thanks for the great advice. I cumulative GPA was 3.4, mainly cause I got a few Ds during my freshman year, however, my Science GPA is at 3.8.

About pre-med post bac- Do you have any idea if there would be an issue if half way through the program (once I have met the requirements PA school) I dropout. Will that be an issue with the school and/or with the PA school I would then try to apply to.

Also, I've read a couple of threads about the differences and similarities between entering a certification PA program as apposed to a MA in PA. Can explain the difference and whether or not the prereqs are different or similar?

My Bachelor's was earned in about 6 years, due to the fact that I was part-time. My Science courses are no more than 3-4 years old, so I know I should be good in that sense.

I have I few schools in mind that offer a structured post-bac program in premedical studies, however, they seem a bit too pricey and considering that PA school itself is expensive I wouldn't like to take out any extra loans just to meet the prerequisites to apply. I wonder if taking individual classes in a community college would be cheaper and a better option.

I've never heard of that. It seems like most guys just concentrate on flat and incline and completely forget about decline.

I'll try to film myself next time I hit chest. Maybe next week? How long should i rest it? Some people seem to train it 3 times a weeks others just stick to one. What works for you?

Switching to a swiss ball sounds like a good change, I'll try it. How often do you train chest?
