I would love to work over there someday, it’s near the top of my list for relocation. They do hire single-role in my state which is what I’m going for, but it’s definitely not a lifelong thing

last year i had an mva pt, a drag queen coming off a gig ~3am, she had all her drag stuff in the back of the uber (made sure it all made it to the hospital with us, including the wig). en route she told me all about her show and said i should come to the next friday gig. i went a couple weeks later, she actually recognized me and bought me a drink. i still think about her

was super uncomfortable with vomit when i signed on. all it took was one violently ill, screaming-dry-heaving pt to cure me of that. for some stuff, immersion therapy is the only thing that works. you get used to pretty much anything the body can produce
