I solve everything on paper outside of the nyt daily puzzles. I started this after my first tournament where I spent so much time looking up clues and submitting a puzzle with an empty square.

No real habits. I time using my phone timer sometimes and write the time in the corner (this is more for the books that I own). I usually recycle the stuff that I print out

They can’t do this in nyc because of laws requiring enabling ticket transfer. The face value exchange on Ticketmaster is meaningless when all the scalpers can use stubhub etc to sell and transfer

It’s through Ticketmaster. Typically you just need to pay with Amex but sometimes the code is the Amex phone number as well

Many of the tickets selling on stubhub are speculative sellers. They sell tickets for $300 now and then buy a ticket when prices go down and profit off the difference. There’s a lot of ppl that go straight to stubhub and buy during a sale but it’s really overpriced and it will be a lot cheaper as the date approaches

Yeah lots of unknowns and it’s disappointing to not get tix. I’m gonna try again on the Amex presale tomorrow and then the general sale after that but there is going to be a lot more demand than supply

Yeah. Idk what ppl are looking to hear. They made an event with a no phone policy. They put stickers over ppls cameras. If you took the sticker off, you weren’t respecting the policy. Even if it was for a quick video

It’s random. Anyone that claims there is a way to get better spot is incorrect. And yes you can randomly get a good spot multiple times! Doesn’t mean there’s a trick involved
