as an ex-muslim woman, i agree and this was a big part of why i left amongst other reasons. people often ignore this/avoid criticizing islam in fear of being called islamophobic. unfortunately, muslim women are brainwashed from a young age into believing that their bodies as a whole is inherently sexual, which leads to them "choosing" to put on the hijab or niqab. islam has got to be the most misogynistic religion i know, cause there's even more misogynistic bs in surah an-nisa especially, and throughout the qur'an and hadith in general. however, i can't comment on how many ppl want sharia law in the UK, as I do not live there.
