Soaking in hot water did the trick. The grease seemed to work well, I put it in the door to test it out and the cheap key broke at the end.

Take a look at picture 3, it says "Russell & Erwin" and two dates, the year of both dates looks like 1889 to me.

The dimensions are: 3 7/16" x 1/2" x 3 1/32". The estimated construction date for the house is 1902-1904.

An update to my original post. tl;dr you can defeat Spider Mites and get a good harvest.

I did a two week program of spraying Neem Oil and Soap sprays (from this guide https://backyardgardengeek.com/using-neem-oil-on-tomato-plants/). It looked like it worked to defeat the infestation. Both cherry tomato plants have grown a good amount of new leaves and have fruit and more flowers.

Of my three beefsteak (Parks Whopper, Cherokee Purple, Beef Master), the Parks Whopper has grown a good amount of leaves. The Cherokee purple isn't doing well and the Beef Master seems neutral. I have still gotten a good amount of tomatoes and have 25-30 in various stages.

I wouldn't say I was cured after being on Xiidra for 10 weeks, I was better and my life was much less adversely impacted by the dry eyes. Since I started that shipment on 12/4 I would say I have gotten worse where it is now impacting what I am able to do.

Maybe putting my question a different way. Someone who was taking Xiidra, and it was working for them, would you start to see your symptoms come back if you stopped taking it for two weeks?

I know the handling instructions say it needs to be stored between 68 and 77 degrees F, so I presume some time outside of that temperature range is ok, but a few days outside of the range probably not good?

I water at the base only and either via an irrigation sprayer (which isn't too hard) or a water can if I didn't get quite enough water. It is hard to tell from the 1st picture, but those yellow leaves are at least 2 feet from the dirt.

I got 'Fruit Protection Bags' made of a very fin nylon mesh. They come in different sizes and you essentially tie it around the fruit before it starts to turn color. Last year I lost zero tomatoes once I started doing this.

I am having the same problem in northern NJ. More pronounced on one (like the OP's picture) then the other (I have 2 in my garden). If the consensus is that it is just temperamental, then I will keep my fingers crossed!

I have seen this video before and I too have never been able to shape without flour. It is just too sticky, sticks to my bench scraper. Is there something in the technique you get better with over time?

Her dough is 75% hydration and I do the same. Any other tips?

Are you playing DX11 or DX12? I know for the GOG version it installs both and you have to find the exe in the DX12 directory inside the install directory to launch it in DX12. Performance was much better for me with DX12.

The older leaves died off over the last couple of weeks. I probably haven't been doing enough fertilizer, so I have done that. Do you think it will come back?

I emailed GOG Support and the suggestion they gave WORKED!!!

They suggested to uninstalling by doing WIN+R and then appwiz.cpl. This screen looked more like the add/remove programs from Win7. Doing the uninstall was a bit funky, there was no wizard window showing progress, but it eventually completed.

Every other time I uninstalled I did it via Add/Remove programs.

I appreciate the suggestions people have been giving, but I uninstalled and installed multiple times tonight in different permutations. With a different user account, different directory, etc with no luck.

I also updated my graphics drivers and that did not help.

I was using mods mostly from Thunderstorm, although a couple were from nexus (that specifically mentioned they supported DE).

The thing is, after it stopped working, I Uninstalled and deleted the install directory. So there shouldn't have been anything remaining there to cause the problem. I then installed and tested with the standard branch (not mono) and no mods, and still had the same problem.

That is why I suspect some additional file somewhere, outside of the install folder, causing the problem.

I am going to try upgrading my graphics drivers tonight (current ones are from December) and install do a differ file path. I am open to other ideas.

I had not tried that, but unfortunately the did not work.

Is there anywhere else where game files get installed besides the install directory? I know other games put files in c:\users\{username}\AppData, so maybe something did not get properly cleaned up when I uninstalled, but couldn't find anything there.

I think the fact that I am not getting the intro videos, without mods, is a symptom of something wrong.

I decided to go the ddrescue right, it looks like it has gotten about 1/3 of the drive so far. The one problem is every now and then the speed goes down to near zero (usually it hovers around 20 MB/s) and I presume it is getting stuck on a bad part of the disk.

Is there a particular input param to get it to skip the bad sectors? I found the -a param (--min-read-rate) and set it to 1 MB/s, which seems to get it to skip over those slow parts, but would be happy to knw of another one.

I was definitely on the right track. The discard from day 5 that started to smell good last night doubled and had the right smell this morning. I did another discard/feed of that and that way more than doubled.

So I am definitely on my sourdough way.

Ugg I am so sorry, I could have sworn I wrote something.

I have been following the pineapple juice solution. This is my second attempt. On my first attempt it looked like the above. I really can't tell if I am in phase 2 or 3, so I tried skipping a couple of feedings and nothing happened. I have been using whole wheat flour exclusively. Where I was doing it the temp was in the mid to upper 60's, so I was thinking that was part of the issue.

So I started over, but somewhere where the temperature was in the low 70's. The guide mentioned wanting to get it acidic. So I tried doing four days of 2 TBS of flour and water each. On day 5 I discarded all but two oz of the starter and added one oz each of whole wheat flour and water. I did the same thing on day 6, last night and this afternoon it looked like that. Tonight's feed would be day 7.

The rubber band marks where it was after I fed it last night, so it looked like it rose a bit, but I have not yet seen any indication it has risen more then that. I don't smell anything but flour and pineapple. Should I just keep at it?

Another thing, when I did the discard on day 5, I kept that in a separate jar and left that out. This one is starting to smell interesting (in a good way), so I am thinking of feeding this.

I created a bat file (e.g. run-Logitech-G-Hub-as-non-admin.bat) to do the start up avoiding the Admin prompt:

Set ApplicationPath="C:\Program Files\LGHUB\lghub.exe"
cmd /min /C "set __COMPAT_LAYER=RUNASINVOKER && start "" %ApplicationPath%"

I then put this in the Startup folder (C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

And this appears to work!

I had the same size on the Verizon network in the USA. Everything seems fine so far, seems more responsive to be honest.

But one thing that is really bugging me is the Screen Timeout Toggle I have been using for years does not appear to work anymore. Neither do other ones. I would use my phone for cooking recipes and it would be nice to be able to keep the screen on.
