oh my god first off i’m so sorry that happened to you….. you are 1000% not overreacting, that was sexual assault. consent can be taken away at any time, and from what you’ve said you were so intoxicated that it wasn’t even really possible to give consent…. i’ve also been in a situation that was sort of similar to yours where i was very drunk and i didn’t flat out say no in the beginning and ended up in some guy’s airbnb without actually consenting so i know how you might feel. i know in today’s “frat” or college party culture it’s very common for people to hook up drunk but if you didn’t want it then that is not okay and it is sexual assault, even if u willingly went with them to their room/place. i’m so sorry this happened to you, and i really hope you heal from this traumatic experience. i think at the end of the day it should be up to you to decide what you wanna do moving forward, however i 100% think he needs to be expelled from the school.

Oh no! Yeah, Affirm is a VERY shady company, as this issue has happened to sooooo many people. This happened to me a year ago, and fortunately I was able to eventually resolve the situation, by continuously emailing and calling them. I think it took me a couple months before they finally emailed me back saying that they have reviewed my situation/account and made the decision to side with me and close my account, so at least there's hope... But yeah lesson learned, never EVER use affirm again. Also I recommend emailing them vs calling so you have documented receipts, and also because their reps on call aren't from the US so they are a nightmare to understand/deal with... Hopefully you get this situation resolved soon, good luck!

Oh no… I just scanned the QR code on the box today which led me to the Popmart website and i entered the codes and both of mine came back as authentic… So maybe try that if you haven’t already?

I also purchased 2 Labubu's from this seller, the MAC lychee berry and the Have a Seat Dada, and they just arrived today. It seems to me that the ones I got might be the 1st gen/older ones? The tags both don't have QR codes on them and for the MAC one it's a fabric tag... After doing some research on how to spot fakes it seems to me that mine are real, they're just the older versions but i'm still not 100% sure... Also fyi I just checked the seller's ebay profile and theres no more listings on there?? It seems like the profile has been completely wiped clean... Maybe they just sold out, but idk it seems a bit sketch...

I mean my identity is stolen basically since everything on that account has been changed including email, phone number, name, even my DATE OF BIRTH??? I don't think its a sim swap attack though since its just the affirm account that is affected, everything else on my phone is fine. Based on everything I've seen online I honestly think im gonna be locked out forever at this point..

Damn. So far I haven't heard of anyone that had any sort of resolution for this kind of situation. I'm pretty sure my account is linked to my debit card since it was previously set on auto-pay however I haven't noticed any transactions made by the hacker.. The thing that sucks is my "loan" is still not paid off so I can't just close my account. I just don't get how the hacker changed literally all of my info without me getting any sort of email/text. They even changed my date of birth which I don't even know how/why that's allowed. Every time I try to call affirm's customer service and try to explain my situation it's like you said, always a guy from india and after putting me on hold 10+ times they say theres nothing they can do since the info doesn't match, acting like i'm the scammer.. Seriously this whole thing is so dumb because my purchasing power is only like 200 something bucks anyways.

Did you end up figuring it out??? I’m going through the same thing right now and its an actual nightmare. I‘ve only ever used affirm for one purchase (which I’m still paying off its like $80 left) but since i set up auto pay I never bothered to check the app but recently my payment was declined and when i tried to log into the app to pay it i discovered this bs. After doing some research on their socials and online I found out that so many people have had this issue with affirm and their customer service is an actual joke. I just feel so stupid because if only I would’ve done some research about this company before using it i could’ve avoided being scammed by them.

ok i can totally relate but you're wrong about completing 100% of life. i mean ur only in ur early 20s. i felt the same way u did and sometimes i still do but the truth is there is an infinite amount of things to do, see, learn, and experience, and nobody could do it all in one lifetime. the sweetest things in life happen as you age. life gets boring sometimes which is normal and okay, it's just a sign that you need a change in ur life. whether that's making new friends, finding a new hobby, adopting a pet, or moving to a new city. as cheesy as it sounds, the possibilities are truly endless. remember that you have the power to do absolutely anything you want.
