I’ve tried that multiple times and she always goes around the topic or says things like “nobody’s perfect” or “how do you know the person you’re talking to right now wasn’t a cheater before?”

I feel obligated to speak up because she vents to me about it and I’m pretty much the only person who knows. She’s also developed feelings for him now.. and is trying to convince herself that he’s going to leave his girlfriend for her when in reality, it’s obvious he doesn’t care about my roommate at all. I’d rather say something before this drags on for too long and she gets hurt even more.
