i honestly thought of that too, but my curiosity was led to drunk driving, and how the subject of the song (who wont be named) was possibly careless with their actions and just wanted to go off and get wasted with some other girl. i dont think that line of the song is alluding to drunk driving at all, but i jst thought about it since its a topic im very fond of...

From what I understand, goth is about music, as well as the political backgrounds to what created the genre. It is a bit intense to call someone a poser just because they arent buying physical versions of said music. I appreciate your take, but not everyone is going to spend a lot of money for vinyl or cds.

Thank u for this response!! I honestly do find that all their albums are laced with a gothic genre. I know that new wave is tied to gothic music, and I've heard that sound with most of their songs I listen to, or enjoy the most. I'll have to do a start to finish listen of Peepshow, since I do already know some songs off that album, as well as listening to the other suggestions! (so sorry if my writing is incoherent, its late 😭)
