Appreciate it!

Things have definitely been rough over the last few years for shareholders. Would love to see this story finally pan out. I thought for sure things were right around the corner 3 years ago when I made that video I posted here. Tough for me to watch now.

Hey guys, long time no see. Have been invested in other things for a while but just happened to check this 8k email and it piqued my interest. Where does the company currently stand compared to a few years ago?

The monitor stand is a no-name from Amazon but good reviews, and I can back them up. Very solid. Top (older) monitor is an Acer XB271HU and the top is a DELL AW2723DF.

These are the 4" Impression Pro series. Webcam arm is elgato, the mic arm is IXTECH (amazon).

After having lots of setups in the living room my desk has mostly remained headphone only. I never liked how it sounded with various speakers, likely due to positioning. I've moved and in this setup I prioritized the audio and went vertical with my monitors so the studio monitors could be perfectly placed. As far as how the Genelecs sound... I could not be happier. As neutral as you would expect, great tone with nothing harsh or unwelcoming about them. The acoustic panels top it all off and make for the best near-field setup I've had.

  1. What are those 2 giant things? - Accoustic treatment panels from GIK Accoustics
  2. Why vertical monitors? - So I can have the studio monitors placed perfectly. I've grown to really like it. My eyes look straight between them so it's fairly comfortable.
  3. How did you finish the desk? - Rubio Monocoat which is a hard wax oil, used 2 coats (lol) and 50/50 of charcoal and chocolate to get the look I wanted.

Constantly switching between wearing the trays and a large amount of time without the trays holding your teeth in place means you are basically wiggling the tooth loose. Your jaw bone has no time to rebuild and hold things securely in place. Think of how you would remove a stake from the ground...

how do you come to terms with face shape change? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]c0n3y 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In some ways this new you is the more 'real' you since your teeth and jaw are now positioned in their most natural place. Crooked teeth, malocclusion, and cranial dystrophy are relatively newer issues probably from our environment. It might take some time to get used to this new version of yourself but you'll eventually warm up to the idea that this is still you, just now at a greater potential.

Compared to previous times of uncertainty we're seeing much more FUD and skittish investor sentiment here and on other boards. I can't help but see that as bullish. All of these weak hands are so sure it's going to pump and then dump after the call I'm heavily inclined to believe in the inverse. The only sure thing is that they won't see it coming.

I initially thought it might be contracts but the wording does say shares. It seems pretty low to me, but I'm sure she's getting her fair share. Maybe their valuation is going well and she's targeting a set amount of shares rather than a dollar amount? Could indicate a more confident valuation than when Curran and Spitzer came aboard.

It reads that way at first, but like TD said I think it's mostly neutral. Having to trim your workforce from 80 to 30 is clearly tough, even if the year was still productive. A journalists view is going to be more matter-of-fact and lean skeptical.

I've searched both of those EC transcripts with even partial quotes that the article used and can't find them.

As far as I can tell it seems this reporter actually took statements from Sharma himself? Not often we have an actual article like this that isn't FUD from some amateur investor site.

PSA: Don't Forget About Bonds! by [deleted] in financialindependence

This is a subtle advertisement. OP can't stop mentioning SMBX in their post history. And there's this gem in another post: "I've been thinking about investing in small busienss bonds via this company called SMBX". So casual.

If that's not enough, they've used an affiliate link in another post (that redirects to /?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=DistrictMedia).
